• 1 hr session
• A private viewing gallery of approx 100 images within 48 hrs OR photographer can select your images for you.
• 4 Fully retouched Hi-Res digital files 
• Unlimited clothing & background changes

ADD-ONS: If you decide after viewing your gallery that you would like more than the specified 4 images, additional images are available to purchase, fully retouched at £25 per image

Your headshots session (and what you can do for Mary):

Your 60 minute session will result in approx. 100 shots being taken

Mary will take you through a range of poses in the studio trying out several angles, seated and standing and a variety of expressions to explore your range as a performer. We can discuss your casting bracket prior to the session or as we work.

Occasionally Mary will take outdoor shots (weather permitting) using colour and texture in the vicinity of the studio as backgrounds, (colour is becoming much more popular for headshots in the UK now following the US model for headshots photography)

• Please have a good night’s sleep before your head shots session and drink lots of water in the few days before the shoot to hydrate your skin.
• Please do not wear TOO much make up…some light mascara and a lip gloss/shimmer should do it. Heavy foundation can look very chalky/ tonally wrong and will require retouching anyway.
• All skin blemishes (including spots, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, dry flakes, cuts/abrasions) will be retouched in images for Spotlight (or where specific instructions have been requested)
• All freckles, scars, moles or permanent facial details will remain untouched
• EYEBROWS! If you have your eyebrows shaped or plucked…please have them freshly shaped for your photo session. Shaping scruffy eyebrows takes literally HOURS in post-production!
• CLOTHING – As a very loose recommendation ...keep it plain and free of large logos or dazzling patterns. Punchy bold, colourful clothing can work really well against particular backgrounds. T-shirts with differing necklines, well ironed shirts or blouses that might nod at certain casting brackets. Jackets, jumpers or cardigans that can be layered on top of your shirt or t-shirt give us extra options to work with. Bring what you like though! The idea is to reflect your individuality so the clothes you choose to bring should compliment your own unique style and also the idea of character you have in mind. Most headshots are from the chest up and so don't overthink the lower half. If you would like mid or full body shots then consider the whole outfit and ensure it hangs together well.
• HAIR - Your hair should be washed and styled the way you want it to look in the final results, there will be time to change a hairstyle up midway through the session so please bring a brush and extra bobbles, gel, spray etc if you would like to switch it up for variety.

Payment

You will have already made a down payment on line for your session of £50. You will be invoiced for the balance following the session and once this is paid you will be given access to download your selected, retouched images.

When you get your pictures

Mary normally needs about 2 weeks to edit, retouch and create the custom digital albums to send out to your individual emails. Depending on how many sittings she shoots in a session, this can vary a bit.
